REGEN-A-NATION – Official Selection: Wild & Scenic Film Festival 2025 – Cornwall Film Festival 2024
‘Regen-a-Nation’ is an insightful documentary following the British farmers who are healing our soil, supporting our wildlife, and producing our food. The film joins forces with two regenerative farmers to showcase how rotational grazing, agroforestry, and rewilding (with beavers) can repair the soil damage caused by intensive farming.
FARMERS PROTEST
In November 2024, 20,000 farmers gathered in London to protest against reforms to inheritance tax. I went and interviewed five farmers about the effect this was going to have on their livelihoods.
MARINE STRANDINGS NETWORK
A short film delivered for Cornwall Wildlife Trust to celebrate their Marine Strandings Network – a group of over 200 volunteers that monitor dead marine wildlife.
WOODLAND VALLEY FARM
A promotional film to market Woodland Valley Farm’s stag and hen parties. With sweeping drone shots, creative camera movements, and upbeat music, the film showcases a great day out for all.
WADING INTO TROUBLE
After spending the summer feeding in the Arctic, thousands of wading birds fly to the UK to escape the freeze of the north. But will this be the haven that they are seeking? A film by Thomas Scott, Katie Tucker, and Kian Axtell.
COOTS CLASH
A family of coots enters into a vicious dispute, but when they are mobbed by gulls they are forced to work together to fend them off and reclaim their turf.
